What You Need

Staking CDX is how you earn your share of COD3X platform profit. Here's what you need to get started.

How to Stake

Go to Staking

Open the Operations page in the COD3X app — the staking dashboard, tier selector, and reward schedule all live there.

Enter Amount

Enter how much CDX you want to stake. Minimum is 5,000 CDX. Higher amounts unlock better tier benefits.

Confirm

Approve the transaction in your wallet. Takes about 2 seconds on Base. Your benefits activate immediately.

After You Stake

Once your transaction confirms, three things happen:

Benefits activate immediately. Your tier bonus applies to your next credit purchase — across every payment method (card via Coinbase, x402, or Hyperliquid). Staking bonuses apply to credit purchases only; subscription plans are priced separately and do not earn the bonus.
Maturity clock starts. Your maturity multiplier (M) begins building toward 1.5x over 12 months. Your stake scaler (S) is determined by how much you stake.
Yield accrues continuously. Your share of platform profit accumulates and can be claimed anytime.

NOTE

Staking is non-custodial. Your CDX stays in your wallet, locked in a smart contract you control.

Rewards Formula

Your adjusted rewards are determined by two multipliers that work together:

M = Maturity multiplier (time-based) · S = Stake scaler (size-based)

Maturity Multiplier (M)

Builds gradually over 12 months following a sigmoid curve. The longer you stake, the higher your multiplier. Grows slowly at first, accelerates mid-term, and plateaus near maximum.

Stake Scaler (S)

A compressed logarithmic curve that rewards larger stakes. Below 5,000 CDX you receive a 0.9x penalty. The scaler saturates at 1.5x when you stake 1,000,000 CDX.

TIP

Maximum total boost: 1.5 × 1.5 = 2.25x (12 months maturity + 1M CDX staked). Below 5K staked, you never exceed 1.35x even at full maturity.

Managing Your Stake

Your CDX is never permanently locked. You have full control, with tradeoffs to consider.

Adding More CDX

You can add to your stake anytime. Each token tracks its own maturity, so new tokens start at 1.0x while your existing tokens keep their maturity. Your effective multiplier is weighted across all staked tokens. If your new total crosses a tier threshold, you get the higher tier benefits immediately.

Claiming Yield

Claim your accrued USDC anytime. No cooldown, no maturity impact. Gas cost is minimal (~$0.10).

Withdrawing CDX

You can withdraw anytime, but there are tradeoffs:

7-day cooldown period before CDX returns to your wallet
Maturity resets to 1.0x when you initiate withdrawal
If you drop below 5,000 CDX, you lose credit bonuses and OPERATOR features but still earn yield

NOTE

The maturity reset is the main tradeoff for withdrawal flexibility. If your M is close to 1.5x, consider whether the withdrawal is worth restarting the 12-month clock. Your Stake Scaler (S) is not affected by withdrawals — it recalculates based on your remaining balance.

Position NFTs

Each staking position is wrapped in a transferable NFT. The NFT carries your maturity multiplier with it — meaning mature positions carry a premium, since the buyer gets immediate access to higher yield without waiting 12 months.

TIP

Selling your position NFT is the preferred exit for mature stakes. The buyer inherits your maturity multiplier and you avoid both the 7-day cooldown and the maturity reset.

Common Questions

Yes. Each position is an NFT that carries your maturity multiplier. Selling transfers the full position — stake amount and maturity progress — to the buyer. This is the recommended exit path for mature positions, since withdrawing resets your maturity clock.

Each wallet has its own stake and maturity. They don't combine. Positions are NFTs and can be transferred between wallets. Each NFT tracks its own maturity independently.

Yield accrues continuously. Claim whenever you want. No cooldown, no maturity impact. Gas cost is minimal (~$0.10).

Add more CDX. Your existing tokens keep their maturity, new tokens start at 1.0x. New tier benefits apply immediately.

No hard maximum, but the Stake Scaler (S) caps at 1.5x once you reach 1,000,000 CDX. Staking beyond 1M still earns yield but provides no additional scaler bonus. Tier benefits cap at SENTINEL (200K).

You continue earning yield on your staked amount until the withdrawal completes. Yield is only affected by your multiplier reset, not paused.

The cap is dynamic: (Circulating Supply − Liquidity Floor) / Minimum Stake. Currently ~9,000 slots with 45M stakeable CDX. This number changes as tokens are burned, vested, or locked.

For Users

OPERATOR staking (5K CDX) gives you USDC yield access and 10% bonus credits on all AI compute. An active agent costs 200-500 credits/day — higher staking tiers pay for themselves while you also earn USDC yield.

For Builders

Higher staking tiers unlock profit share multipliers and marketplace visibility. ARCHITECT and SENTINEL creators get featured placement for templates and signals.
